Finn in America

Ok so I'm here now

I'm fresh fresh (stinky) off the plane.

San Francisco... Well so far I've only seen the Mission which is a Latino area. It's pretty different to anything I'm used to outside of Grand Theft Auto. I'm glad I'm not driving cos I think it'd be really easy to start running over people, it's just like the games.

Every second store is either a thrift store or a pawn shop or even a porn shop. Some pretty desperate looking people here. Pretty different to the snooty rich white people who I flew here with from boston or something. I guess that's what America is though; big differences in wealth. The only new building on the street aside from my hostel is "Bank America". It looms over the rest of the struggling people.

I've gotta feeling that I'm going to start drivelling crap so I might sign off and have a berocca.

So anyway, I'm here, I'm real tired but ok. I've already got homesick (I have to listen to John Safran on my ipod to help with that) but I'm sure I'll get over it. This place feels kinda like Sydney climate. It's all foggy though and it gets warm and cold. Anyway. Hi all and hope to hear from you soon.
